There are a few questions that I get on a regular basis so I decided to put them here just to make it easy to find the answers.
Area191?
This used to be the most frequent question that I would get. I am hoping that the new site having the full name at the top will help to answer this question. It simply stands for Asheville Reef Enthusiast Association. As for the 191 part well it does not have any real meaning. I have used the number for years, more than ten years. It is my number when I race Auto Cross and I use it for my email address and for the name on my website.
No Paid Ads?
Yes I do not allow for paid advertising on my site. Sure I could make a few dollars by allowing content advertising and other ads but that isn't why I created the site. If I wanted to make money from this site then that might be something I would do. This site is free that includes not making money by forcing you to look at ads.
What do I get from it?
Simply, I get to make friends that enjoy the hobby the same as I do. Yes, this site does cost me money to keep up, and I do not mind. I look at it as my contribution to the hobby.
