Thanks for visiting Area191. Our members are a very dedicated group of aquarium hobbyist. We have members with experience from around 20 to 30 years all the way down to the absolute beginners. So no matter where you fall into that category you will always be welcomed and respected.
Even though the site is based in the Asheville N.C. area, everyone is encourage to join no matter where you may live. So enjoy the site, and even if you have no desire to join there a lot of information for you to browse and pictures to view.
Why Join Area191?
The Area191 members are all aquarium hobbyist and most of us have many years of experience. So, if you are just beginning or a seasoned vet of the aquarium world this is the place for you. Other than being a part of a great group of hobbyist there is a gallery to post pictures of the tanks that you have worked so hard on. There is also a Trading Post where members can actively trade or sell anything from tanks to coral frags and fish. We also will be having member meetings on a regular basis.
But best of all unlike some sites out there Area191 has No Paid Advertising, and there is Never a Membership Fee. You get full access to the site as soon as you become a member.
